Am hunting for more information on my g-g grandfathr John McLaughlin. He was from Adena and enlisted in the 52nd Ohio V.I. during the Civil War. After the war he moved to Muscatine county Iowa where he married Sarah Neff. He is buried in the cemetery at West Liberty, Iowa.

I have no dates on his wife. I have found two children: Martha Parkhill b. 1811 and m.Thomas McLenahan and David Parkhill (1819-1896) m. Matilda Beard. David and Matilda died in Coshocton Co., Ohio.
