Meredith Business College was a commercial college. It began in 1866 and the founders were J C Small and J S Dinsmore. It was located at  55 1/2 North Fifth Street in Zanesville, Ohio. In the early 1970's it closed its doors to future classes. By 1973 it no longer was listed in the city directory. The building was later razed and where it was located has now become part of the parking lot for the Old Market House Inn restaurant. However, if you are walking on the sidewalk alongside the parking lot and happen to glance down you will still see the MEREDITH  tile inbedded in the brick paving.

Many students attended this business college over the years but the location of any records, to my knowledge, has not been found. While reading through some of the older newspapers I found the above which suggests other rosters may also have been published. If so, when found, I will list them.
