Pardon TILLINGHAST To Caleb BENTLY

Know all men by these presents that I Pardon TILLINGHAST of West Greenwich in the County of Kent and State of Rhode Island & yeoman for and in Consideration of the Sum of Thirty pounds and ten Shillings Lawful Silver Money to me in hand before the Ensealing hereof well and truly paid by Caleb BENTLY of the sd Town county and State aforesaid yeoman Do hereby acknowledge my Self therewith fully Satisfyed Contented and paid and do freely give grant Bargain Sell Convey and Confirm unto him the Said Caleb BENTLEY (sic) his Heirs and Assigns forever one Certain Tract or parcel of Land Situate lying partly in Exeter in County of Washington and partly in West Greenwich in the State aforesd containing twenty acres and fifty Eight Rods no more or less and is Butted and bounded as followeth (Viz) beginning at a Highway at a Stake and heap of Stones Called the Northerly Corner and Run Easterly by Samuel SPENCERs Land forty Rods and from thence Northwesterly by the granters Land to Thomas ALBROs Southeast Corner to a White oak tree and from thence North by ALBROs Land to the Highway and from thence Westerly by the Highway to a Stake and heap of Stones and from thence Southerly by the Highway to first mentioned Bound However otherwise it may be Reputed to be bounded and     To Have and to Hold the above Bargained premises together with all the previlidges and Appurtenances thereunto belonging free of all Incumbrances whatsoever to him the Said Caleb BENTLY his Heirs and Assigns forever in perfect and Absolute Estate of Inheritance in fee Simple forever    I the Said Pardon TILLINGHAST for my Self my Heirs Executors and Administrators Do Covenant and Engage the above Demised and bargained premises to him the sd Caleb BENTLY his Heirs and Assigns against the Lawful Claims or Demands of any person or persons whatsoever forever to Warrant Secure and Defend     In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal the 4th day of February in the year of our Lord 1795 and in the 19th year of the Independence of America
