KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That we, RichardRidgway and Sarah Ridgway of Sumter District, in the aforesaid,Clarendon County, in consideration of th esum of one hundred andfifty dollards to be paid by James Ridgway of the District and Stateaforesaid hve granted, bargained, sold and released, and by thesepresents do grant, bargain, sell and release unto the said JamesRidgway all that tract or parcel of land containing two hundred andfifty eight acres, being part of a tract containing five hundredacres granted to Moses Green by his Excellency William Moultrie, Esq.bearing date the seventh day of August one thousand seven hundred andeighty-six and hath such form shape and marked trees as arereperesented by a plat o the same hereunto annexed, referencethereunto will more fully reperesent, TOGETHER with all and singularthe rights, member, hereditaments and appurtenances to the saidpremises belinging or in anywise incident or appertaining. TO HAVEAND TO HOLD all and singular the premises before mentioned unto thesaid james ridgway, his heirs and assigns forever whojmsover lawfullyclaiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
