 In the Name of God Amen. I Jacob Evans of Lynches Creek In Craven County and State of South Carolina Black Smith Being very old and weak in Body But of Sound and Desposeing Mind and Memory thanks to god for it and Knowing
tahat Men are Mortal I have though fit to make this my Last Will and testament to Dispose of what Estate it hath pleased god to Besto on Me In maner and form as follows that is to say first I beque my Sole to god who gave it and my Body to be Buried at the Descretion of my Executors, Imprimous I give and Beque Unto my youngt* Son William Evans all my Land and Maner Plantation Lying on grate Lynches Creek which I purchised of Mr* David Brunson to the use and behoof of him and his heirs and assigns forever and I allso give to my Said Son William Evans My Nagro man named Tom and all so my nagro woman named Jude to ["Ye" typed between lines]onley use and Behof him the Said William Evans his heirs and assignes for Ever In Remberance that he is my Son  Item I give and Beque Unto my youngest Daughter Martha my Nagro garl named Hannah to Be Paid to her at my Decase Not to Be Sold or Mordaged
from her During her Life But to Remain in her posesion without Enteruption of aney husband or person whatsoever with all her Increas in Rembrance that She   is my Daughter Item I give and Beque Unto My Daughter Susanna Rattlif one  Nagro Bay Named Carey to be paid to her at the Decase of my Wife Sarah Evans and it is my Will and Desier that all the Remainder of My Estate May be Equaly Devided Betwen my other five Children Namely Barwell Evans
Elizabeth Johnson Sarah Dun Mary Stokes & Elenor Acock Besids one Shilling Starling
to Be paid to Each of them By my Executors at My Decas in Remberance that they are ["my"  between lines]Children the Part of my Estate to Be Sold Nameley Nagro Diner James My Smiths Tools Cattle Hogs Horses Beds puter all other Howell furnitude and all and Every part of My Estate for the use of the Before Mentioned and it is my Will that m ["y"  between lines]
