I John Christmas of State and District afforesaidBeing very Sick and weak in body But of perfect mind and Memorythanks be to God and Calling unto mind the mortalty my Body andknowing that it is appointed for all men to die I Make and ordainthis My last will and testament that is to say princepally and firstof all I give and Recommend my Soul into the hands or Almity god thatgave it and as touching Such worldly Estate where with it has pleasegod to bless me in this life I give dismiss and dispose of the samein the following manner and form first I give the plantation of twohundred acres of land that. I now live on with all the housefurniture and all plantation tools Belonging there unto to my belovedwife Nancy Christmas I further leave My Son Nathan Christmas and mySon Absolum Christmas I make and ordain them the sole Executors ofthis my last will and Testament also I leave one Bay mare and oneback horse to my wife Nancy and four Cows and Calve I leave to mywife also one two year old heffer I leave to my grandaughter Nancy,Arons daughter also I leave to wife two cows and pigs and eight yearold and ten year old hogs and eight head of sheep and all the twogees and all the remaining part of all stock of every kind I leaveto my five sons Aron Mosses & Nathan Absolan and Ephrem to beEqually divided and one Negro boy named Rees I give to my son Ephremthe waggon I leave to use of the plantation the all the family Butall pay a part in Repear of her this givin under my hand and Sealthis twenty second day of October one thousand Eight hundred and tenand in the 34-a d 35 year of american indepondanc end in the presentsof thies witnesses
