In the Name of God Amen, I William Daniel of theState of South Carolina, Sumter District & County of Salem, beingof sound & perfect Mind & Memory Blefsed be God- tho, in Alow state of Health, do this Twenty fourth Day of October, In theYear of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred Make & pubilfh, thismy last, Will & Testament in Manner following, That is to say, Igive & bequeath (After all my Just Debts are paid) to my wellbeloved Wife Chloe Daniell, the Ufe & benefit of the plantationWhereon I Now live During her life, together with the benefitresulting from the Cattle & Hoggs, for What may be Sufficientfor her Support, Likewife I give to my loving Daughters, Viz. Nancy,Cretra, Mary, & Patty Daniell, An Equal part of my Cattle Hoggs,& C-r & the plantation or tract of Land, after my WifesDeceafe to be Equally Divided Among them, provided it can be madeConvenient, Otherwise to be sold & the price Equally Divided,Allowing them at the Same time A proportionable benefit of themDuring my Wifes life time - And Whatever part thereof may beExpended for Schooling to Any of my Daughters is to be paid out ofthe Accumulation of the primifes together with the publick Tax - AndI do hereby make & Ordain my well beloved Wife Chloe Daniell tobe Executrix & my Brother Simon Daniell, Executor of this my lastWill & Testament In Witnefs Whereof I the Said William Daniellhave to this my last will & Testament, Set my hand & Seal theDay & year Above Written Signed Sealed & published inpresenceof us.
