In the Name of God Amen. I John Francisco of theState of South Carolina Sumter District being in Health and Soundmind and Memory but recollecting the Mortality of men and the greatuncertainty of Human extents do make and Ordain this my last Willand Testament and hereby disclaiming all former and other wills by memade, First, I recommend my Soul to almighty God that gave it, and mybody to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of myFriends and Executors and after the payment of all my Just debts, Ido will and dispose of all my Estate both real and personal in theway and manner Following,--Item, I give unto my daughterElizabethFrancisco the following Negroes Slaves Namely, Polly, Jack, Joe, Sue,and Paifsy, one Feather bed and Furniture. Item I do give unto mydaughter Margaret Francisco the following Negro Slaves Namely, Phebe,and her child Milly, Sam, Billy, and Betty, one Feather bed andFurniture, Item, my will and desire is that all the residue of mypersonal Estate not above mentioned be sold and the profits arisingtherefrom equally divided between my Two daughters Elizabeth andMargaret, Item my Will and desire is that the above mentioned NegroSlaves which I have given to my two daughters Elizabeth &Margaret be valued and if there is any deficiency in the valuation ofeither of their parts it shall be made up in Cash so as to make themof equal value, Item my Will desire is that my lands be equallydivided between my two daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret and to berented out by my Excutors until they think proper to have it divided,and Lastly my Will and desire is that if either of my daughtersElizabeth or Margaret should die and leave no Legitimate Ifeus at anytime of her life, in that event the whole of my Estate abovementioned which I have given either of them to return to theSurviving One, And I do thereby Nominate and appoint Reubin Long andJohn Horan my Executors to this my last and Testament made and donethis Seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord One thousandand Eight hundred and Four.--- Signed Sealed and Acknowledgedin
