WILL OF AARON FRIERSON

 

In the name of God Amen---

I Aaron Frierson of Sumter District. being Sick& weak in body but of perfect mind & memry, thanks be to God,Calling to mind the mortality of my body & knowing it is apointedfor all men once to die, Do mak & appoint this my last will &Testament principly & first of all I recomend my Sole into thehands of God that gave it, & my body to the earth to be burier'din a Christin like manner Not doubting but at the grait reserection Ishall receve the same by the might power of God. & as tuchingSuch wor'ly affairs as It hath pleas'd God to blefs me with in thislife. I Dispose of in the following manner viz. It is my Will &Disire that all my lawfull Debts & funeral Expenas be paid. 2 Itis my Will that my bloved son John Frierson Shall have my gun &shot keg & ten Dollars as his lawfull part of my Estate; it is mywill that my daughter Jean Welch Shall have five Dollars as hirlawfull part It is my Will & disire that the rest of my EstateShall be Sold on a Credit of twelve monthis & then be EquallyDivided Betwixt my bloved Children that's to say. betwixt. MaryFrierson, & Susannah Graham, & Sarah Beard, and I do herebyapoint William Beard to Exicute this my last Will by colecting whatis owing to me Selling paying & Deviding the same. in Witnefsthere of I have hereto set my hand and Seal this 26th of July1821
