This 17th January 1818 this is the wish of MrNathan Gardner for his children to have his Property his wife AmeliahGardner to have the use of it as long as she lives or remains a widowshe is bequested to keep the children togather and do a good Part bythem as far as She is able to do and likewise the said Nathan Gardnerwishes James Vickers and Ameliah Gardner his wife to take charge ofhis D.r Children as father and mother see them Justly dealt withaccording to law Ameliah Gardner and each child to bare an equal Partof my Property after my debts is Paid, It is the request of NathanGardner that Richard Ragin and William Felder to attend to his familyand concerns Untill James Vickers takes Charge of it if ameliahgardner Sees Proper to brake up and go with her brother my land to beSot up to the highest bider and Sold if not It is not to be Sold leftto the use and Purposes of my family-my negro girl Patsy is not to besold left for the use of my family
