IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN-I Willis Hudnall of SumterDistrict in the State of South Carolina-being weak in body but ofsound mind and memory and calling to mine the uncertainty of Life-andbeing desireous to dispose of all my Worldly Estate- I do hereby makeand Publish this My last Will and Testament rennouncing all otherWills and Testaments by me made-----------

 

First- I lend unto My beloved Wife PrissillaHudnall, during her Widowhood or life-that tract of Land-Called thePotter Tract. And the Tract of Land Called the Fred Winkley Place-Ialso lend her as above Mentioned one Negro Man Named Kitt-one NegroWoman Named Bett-one Negro boy Named Sam-one Negro Man NamedIsham-one Negro Woman Named Vilate one Negro Woman Named Doreass-oneNegro Girl Named Epsey-one Negro boy Named Joe-and all the Stock ofHorses Cattle Hogs and Sheep-except-Such as I have herein otherwisedisposed of-all this I lend to my Wife Prissilla Hudnall for theSupport of her self and Family-all this I lend to her during herWidowhood and nolonger-----------------------------------------------------------------------

 

Secondly-I Give and Bequeath unto my DaughterHannah Davis-one Negro Woman Named Rose one Girl Named Dorcas-oneNegro Girl Named ***** one Negro Girl named Sarah-All this I give atmyDeath----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

Thirdly-I give and bequeath unto my Son HenryHudnall them tracts of Land Called the Gibson Place Containing threeHundred and Seventy Acres more or less-one Negro Man Named Phil-oneNegro Girl Named Hannah-All this I Give at myDeath--------------------------------------------------

 

Fourthly- I give and bequeath unto My Son WillisHudnall one Negro Boy Named Jim and one Horse Called Doctor. Onedouble barrel Shot gun one Feather Bed all this I give him at myDeath--and after the death of my Wife Prissilla Hudnall or at herMarriage-I also Give the Said Willis one Negro Man Kitt one NegroWoman Named Bett-one Boy Sam and Epsey-and the two tracts of LandCalled the Potter Place & Winkles Place-One Negro Man Named Ishamone Boy Named Joe. I also Give Willis at My death one Cow andCalf-------------------------------------------

 

Fifthly-I Give and Bequeath unto My Son RobertHudnall. At my death one half of that Tract of Land Called the Perrytract that is the upper half-also one Negro Woman Named Mourning-oneNegro Man Named Tom-one feather Bed one Cow and Calf all this I Giveat my Death. One Mare colt-also at Mydeath----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

Sixthly. I Give and Bequeath unto my Son JarredHudnall the one half of that tract of Land called the Perry Tractthat is the lower part of Said tract also one Negro Woman NamedVilate one Girl Named Mary-one Girl Named Saphrona and one Girl NamedSabrey-and one Feather bed and one Cow and Calf-(all this that is notlent) to the said Jarred at myDeath---------------------------------

 

Seventhly-I Give and bequeath unto My DaughterElizabeth Hudnall one Negro Woman Named Doreal one Boy NamedEdmond-one Feather Bed one Cow and Calf-one tract of Land Called theGibson Place. It is my Will that all the present Crop of every

description be Kept for the use of the Family whonow lives at the Place or at home. I also want My three YoungestChildren Robert, Jarred and Elizabeth to be schooled out of the Moneynow in the house and the Balance of any after paying my Just debts,be divided amongst the Legal heirs.

 

I also appoint and ordain John Hudnall, PrissillaHudnall and Willis Hudnall Executors to this My last Will andTestament where of I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal-This theSeventh day of October in the Year of Our Lord one thousand eightHundred and Seventeen-
