In the name of God amen I Thomas J Lenoir ofSumter District and State aforesaid being of sound and desposing mindand memory but weak in body and calling to mind the uncertainty oflife, and being desirous to despose of all such worldly estate as ithath pleased God to blefs me with do make this my last will: inmanner following that is to say I give unto my brother William RLenoir all the land I am entiteled to, I then desire that theballance of my property be sold and that all moneys due me becollected and that the money so collected and the money arising fromthe sales of my property be applyed first to the discharge of all myjust debts and that the ballance thereof be equally divided betweenmy two sisters Martha A Lenoir and Matilda A Lenoir - And lastly I dohereby constitute and appoint my friends Malachi P. Murphy &Hastin Jennings Executors of this my last will and testament herebyrevoking all other and former wills & testaments by me heretoforemade; In testamony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixedmy seal this twenty fourth day of June in the year of our Lord onethousand eight hundred and seventeen
