In the Name of God Amen) I Henry Lenud ofClaremont County in the State of South Carolina planter being Weak ofbody, but of Sound and disposing mind and memory, do this day of Julyin the year of our lord one thousand Seven hundred and Ninty fourmake and Publish this last Will and Testament, that is to Say Irecommend mt Soul into The bands, of almighty God who gave it me andmy body to the earth from whence it Came in hopes, of a Joy-full,Resurrection through the Merrits of. my Savour, Jesus Christ, andfirst I give and bequeath and devise to my beloved Wife ElizabethLenud, all my lands, and Tennements, to hold to her during the life,and from and after her decease, I give and devise the Same to my SonHenry Laurence Lenud and to his Heirs, and assigns for ever (Item) Igive to my wife Elizabeth the use of one third of all my Negroes, theuse of my Household Furniture Riding Chair and two Horses, for andduring , the Term of her life and at her decease I give the Same tomy Son Henry Lawrence Lenud and Dau ghter Elisa love Lenud, to beequally Divided between them (Item) one other third of all myNegroes, Together with one Half of all personal property ofwhatsoever nature or kind the same may be and herein beforeexpressed, I give and bequeath to my Son Henry Lawrence Lenud to bepaid and Delivered to him at the age of twenty years, (Item) theother remaining third of all my Negroes, together with the remainingHalf part of all my personal property of what soever nature or kindthe same May be and not herein before expressed I give and bequeathto my Daughter Elisa love Lenud to be paid and delivered to her atthe age of twenty Years, on an the Day of Marriage if the same shallSooner take place, (Item) in Case of the death of either of saidChildren Henry Lawrence Lenud and Elisa love Lenud before marriage orbefore they shall attain the age of twenty years it is Will and I dohereby declare it to be my Intention that the survivors shall inheritall the bequeaths, gifts, legacesa, and devises herein expressed tobe made to either of them, I nominate Constitute, and appoint, MySaid wife Elisabeth Sole Executrix, of this My last Will andtestament and in Case of her death, then William Capers, Francis GDeleseline of Georgetown and Samuel Fley my Executors, and lastly Ido hereby evoke disannul, and make Void all other Wills by me at anytime heretofore made and do make and declare this only to be my lastwill and Testament, In witness Whereof I the Said Henry Lenud havehereunto set my hand and Seal, the day and year above written.
