In the name of God Amen: I Rosanah Maples of theState of South Carolina and District of Sumter being Weak in body thoSound in mind and Memory And Calling to mind the Mortality of thislife, do make this my last will and Testament, In Manner And formfollowing. After my Departure from this life my desire is that mybody may be decently buried at the disgresion of my Executors. firstI give and bequeath to my well beloved son Nathan Maples, the sum ofone dollar to be paid to him twelve months after my Decease, Secondly, I give and bequeath to my well beloved friend John Hodgeall my plantation or Tract of land Containing one hundred and fiftyAcres, whereon I now live, Situate in the District and Stateaforesaid, Also all my Stock of Cattle, together with all my household and kitchen furniture, all of which he the said John Hodge is tobe Pofsest of immediately after my Decease-I Also Constitute andappoint my well beloved friend John Hodge Executor to this my lastWill and testament. And I do hereby disannul. Disallow, and Revokeall former wills by me made Acknowledging this to be my last will andTestament bearing date this fourth day of December in the Year of ourLord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen and in the thirty eightYear of the Independence of the United States of America-
