The Last Will and Testament of Joshua McIntosh ofSouth Carolina Sumter District, I Joshua McIntosh considering theuncertainty of this life, & being of Sound mind & memory(blessed be almighty God for the Same do make & publish this mylast Will & Testament in manner & form following (That is tosay) First it is my will that my just debts bepaid---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Item 1st I will & bequeath unto my belovedWife Jane McIntosh the whole of my estate both real & personalduring her natural life & at her death to be divided as follows(Viz)

Item 2nd I will & bequeath to my daughterAddeline Agness a negro girl named Rose, one feather bed &furniture & one fourth part of my house hold & Kitchenfurniture beds excepted

Item 3rd I will & bequeath to my daughterRebecca Francis a negro girl named Rachael, One feather bed &furniture & one fourth part of my house hold & Kitchenfurniture beds excepted

Item 4th I will & bequeath to my daughterMargret Emma a negro girl named hester, One feather bed &furniture & One fourth part of my house hold & Kitchenfurniture beds excepted

Item 5th I will & bequeath to my daughterFlavilla Newell one negro girl named Jupina, One feather bed &furniture & one fourth part of my house hold & Kitchenfurniture, beds excepted

Item 6th I will & bequeath to my two SonsJoshua Mitton & William Daniel the plantation whereon I now live,my stock of horses & hogs to be equally divided between them,

Item 7th I will & bequeath the residue ofmy estate both real and personal to my thre daughters, Mary Martha,Eliza Jane, & Susannah Brunetta to be equally divided betweenthem share & share alike to them & their hersforever-----------------------------------------

Lastly, I do appoint my son Joshua Mitton & mysoninlaw William Buddin Executors to this my last Will &Testament hereby revoking all former Will by me made, In witness Ihave hereunto Set my hand & Seal this fifteenth day of October inthe year of ourlord one thousand eitht hundred & thirtyseven
