In the name of God Amen This sixth day of Novemberone Thousand Eight Hundred and nineteen I Eli McKeney of SumterDistrict and State of South Carolina Being Very weake in body but ofSound and perfect mind and memory blefsed be God---and Douting thetime of my desolution to be near At hand do give and Recomend my soulto God My Body to be deccently buried my worldly Estate to beDisposed of as follows Viz I give unto my Dearly beloved mother onenegro Man named Jefrey together with one cow and calfe marked with acrop in one Year and a hole in the other which I wish her to Receivedat my death and injoy her Life time and at her Death I wish the abovenamed Jefrey and the Cow and the increase there of to goe to mybrother William E. McKeney Item I give to my brother William E.McKiney all the Moneys arising from the sails of my Land which I havesould together a stock of hogs and the ballance of my Cattle with afeather Bed with its furniture and that he to Injoy them amdiatlyafter my death and it is my wish that my wright in the Corn should beEqually divided between my mother Mary Singletary and my brotherWilliam E McKinney and I the said Eli McKenney do publish This as myLast will and testament in the year of our Lord one thousand eighthundred nineteen and in the 43 year of the americanindependence
