ROBERT MCKNIGHT

 

In the name of God Amen this 13th day of Nov.1817.

I Robert McKnight of Sumter Dist being very sick& weak in body, but of a sound & perfect mind & Memory,do make & ordain this my last Will & testament. That is tosay in the first place I give & recommend my Soul to God, my bodyto be decently buried -my worldly Est. to be divided as follows Viz,I give & bequeath unto my two Sisters Elizabeth McFaddin &Jannet McFaddin & brother James McKnight all my real &personal Estate each to have an equal share of the same & toenjoy & possess as soon as conveniently after my death. & ifmy Brother James dies before he is twenty one years of Age his partis to belong to his Surviving Sisters, And I do Appoint John JMcFaddin & Samuel McFaddin my Executors I disannul every otherWill- I ratify & Confirm this Instrument of writing to be my lastWill and testmt In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand &seal the day & yr first above written --
