I Mary Nelson of Clarendon County and State ofSouth Carolina, being In Perfect Health And Mind and Memory Thanks begiven to God, Therefore Calling to mind The Mortality of my Body andknowing that It Is Appointed for all onste to die do make and ordainThis My last will And Testament. That is to say.

Principally an first of all I give and Recomend MySole to The hands of Almighty God, who gave It. And my body IRecommend to The Earth to be buried In a decent Christian Burial atthe Discretion of My Executors hereafter Named. Nothing Doubting butthe General Resurrection I Shall Receive The Same Again by The MightyPower of God. And Touching Such worldly Estate which It hath pleasedGod to bless me with In This life--

I give, demise and dispose in The following MannerAnd form - Impremise, I give and bequeath unto My brother Sam. EdgarNelson The following Property. Pagga, Letty, Mitty, Young Pegga,Febby, Dranford, Betsey, Maria, Renaldo, Davy, George, Frasher, Jack. all My house hold furniture one feather bed excepted-and The onehalf of My Stock of Cattle to him And his Heirs for Ever

with all Their future increase - Item I give andbequeath to Nephew Miles Hampton Plowden. Stepney Molira. one featherbed and furniture and The Remaining part of My stock of Cattle withall Their future Increase to him and his heirs for Ever - Item I giveand bequeath one Hundred Dollars to be paid Out of My Estate to MyNiece Mary Nelson Plowden. - Item I give and bequeath one HundredDollars to be paid out of My Estate to My Niece Mary Potts.

Item I give And bequeath to My Niece Mary Conyersone Hundred Dollars to be Paid out of My Estate. - Item I give andbequeath to My Nephew Samuel James Nelson one Hundred Dollars to bepaid out of My Estate.

Item I give and bequeath to My Nephew Samuel JohnMurray one Hundred Dollars to be paid out of My Estate - Item I giveAnd bequeath to Mary Nelson Taylor one Hundred Dollars to be Paid outof My Estate.

But never The less be It Remembered That The wholeof My Property is to remain In The Possession of My Mother during herNatural life and Know longer for her use and Support. Lastly INominate and Appoint My Brother Samuel Edgar Nelson Executor of thisMy last Will and Testament. In Witness Whereof I have set my handAnd Seal this 21st Day of July 1809.
