I Abigah Rembert ofSumpter District and State of South Carolina being weak in body, yetof Sound Mind and understanding thanks be to God for the same, domake and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in the mannerand form following Item I give and beq'eth unto my loving WifeElizabeth Three negroes by name Sebell. Grace & Amelia with therefuture Ifsue - One half of my Household & Kitchen furniture, OneSilver Watch, One brown bay horse and Side Saddle, to her and herHeirs & Afsigns forever I also give to my wife the Sixth part ofthe profits ariseing from my Plantation and Estate during herwidowhood, to be paid to her annualy by my Executors hereafter named- I also give to my loving Wife ( as her home and abode during hernatural life) the free use of the Plantation whereon I now live, witha Tract of Land containing Two hundred Acres, which I purchased ofHub.d Reese, which Tract join the said Plantation I now live on---Item I give my son Abijah Ten Dollars, and my son William Ten Dollars- I have already given them a full part of my Estate---. Item I giveand bequeath unto my son Isham one negro boy named Anthoney&emdash; Igive and bequeath unto my son Hubard one negro boy named Pompy- Igive and bequeath unto my daughter Mary one Negro girl named Molly,now in her possefsion. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane OneNegroe Girl named Sarah- I give and bequeath unto my six YoungerChildren Eliz- Scarborough, Thomas, Edward, Amelia, Mary anna, &James English, one young negroe to each of them, which negroes to beas near the value of those given above and my Executors can welljudge, who are to value them, - I also give my Six Younger Children aCow, to each of them with there future female Ifsue - the cows arenow known so that I deem no discription necefsary- - I also give mydaughter Jane one Cow & her Ifsue - as before mentioned- Theremainder of my Stock of Cattle I give and bequeath unto my Wife- andone half of my flock of Sheep to her and her Heirs forever. It is mywill and desire that my Children that is to say my Six youngerest bemaintained & Schooled out of my Estate dureing, and untill theYear One Thousand Eight Hundred & thirteen-then, and not tillthen, to be divided among them-Abijah & William only Excepted asabove mentioned-. At The death of my Wife and not before-I give andbequeath unto my Three Youngest Sons Thomas Edward & JamesEnglish my Plantation whereon I now live, with the Tract of landcontaining Two hundred acres adjoining. To them and their Heirsforever- The Plantation and Land whereon I lived when I moved to theplace I now live on- I give and bequeath to my three Sons Isham,Hubard & Scarborough to them and their Heirs forever, but to bekept by my Executors for the use of my Wife & youngerChildren-Till the division of my Estate takes place as I have abovedirected&emdash; Lastly I do nominated and appoint Isaac Smith (ofCamden) Absolum Williams & Thomas English Executors of this mylast Will and Testament-.
