In the name of God Amen, I Henry Vaughan Junr. ofthe said district being very weak in body but of perfect mind andmemory thanks be given unto God, and calling to mind the mortality ofmy body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die domake and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say, firstof all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of almighty Godthat gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be burried in adecent Christian burrial by my executors nothing Doubting but at thegeneral Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mightypower of God and Touching Such worldly estate wherewith it haspleased God to blefs me in this life, I give and dispose of the samein the following manner,

First I give to my Wife Elizabeth Vaughan Fournegroes, Viz, Sarrom Sary Landy and Jude, With all my stock of horsesCattle, Hogs, and Household Furniture and the remainder of my Estatewhich is not willed. I lend to my Wife Elizabeth Vaughan During herlife I give to my son William Vaughan one negro boy named Simon, Igive to my son Henry Vaughan one negro boy named Sandy I give to myson John Vaughans children two negroes, Viz, Handy and Jenny to beequally devided amongst, I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Dubose twonegroes, Viz. Tom and Molly I give to my daughter, Frances Reynoldsone negroe boy named Jacob, I give to my son Vicent Vaughan, onenegroe man named Sam and all the land lying in the east side of GreenSwamp Being part of that tract of land whereon I now live, also onehundred and seventy nine acres it being a plat of that number ofacres, Joining William Abboth, Joseph Whites and land beforementioned on the east side of Green Swamp, I give to my Grand sonRichard Vaughan, one negroe boy names Semone and one horse saddle andbridle and the land lying on the West side of Green Swamp being partof that tract of land in the east side before mentioned, in GreenSwamp But my wife Elizabeth Vaughan to have it during her life, butIf my Grand Richard Vaughan should die before he has a lawfull child,the property which I leave him shall return to my estateagain--------------------------------

I also appoint my Wife Elizabeth Vaughan Executrixwith William Vaughan and Vincent Vaughan Executors to this my lastWill and Testament and I do hereby disannul all other formerTestaments, Wills Legacies, Bequeaths, and Executors by me in anywise before named confirming this and no other to be my last Will andTestament-- in witnefs whereof I have set my hand and seal thisEighteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one Thousand eighthundred and eight---------------------------
