WILL OF ISAAC WHITWORTH

 

In the name of the holy Trinity Amen

I, Isaac Whitworth of the District of Sumter domake, and ordain the following Instrument of writing my Last will andTestament first I give and recommend my Soul to God. My Body to bedecently Buried my Worldly Estate to be divided as follows to wit. Myfuneral Charges and all my Lawful debts to be paid in a convenientTime after my Death- Item I give and bequeath unto my wife Mary theone third of all the real and personal Estate her Life time And alsoit is my wish that all of the personal property that I Leave unto mywife Shall remain in the District her Life time and after her Deathfor all of the property both real and personal to return to my SonIsaac and in Case that he Should be dead and has no Living Isue forit to return to my Sisters Item I give and Bequeath unto my Son Isaacall of the remainder of my Estate both real and personal and if inCase he Dies before he Marries or Arives to the Age of Twenty One itis my wish for it to go to my Sisters And that my Son Isaac Is toInjoy his Share of my Estate when he Marries or Arives to the Age ofTwenty One Years

And I do authorize my Executors to call in anyThree neighboring Disinterested freeholders to make the Divisionaforesaid I appoint William Anderson John Shaw and Samuel Witherspoonmy whole and Sole Executors of this my Last will and Testamentconfirming this to be my Last Will disannuling all others formerWills and Testaments by me hereby made. Witnefs that I have hereuntoSet my hand and Seal this 21 day of May 1821-
