Will of Jefse Wilder

 

State of South Carolina in the name of GodAmen.

I Jefse Wilder of Sumter District and Stateaforesaid being infirm in Body but of Sound and disposing mind andMemory and calling to mind the mortality of the Body and theimmortality of the Soul do make and ordain this my Last Will andtestament hereby revoking all and every other will made by me or formy use whatsoever..

Imprimus I lend to my beloved wife Mary all myproperty whatsoever during her widowhood (as my widow) for themaintenance of her self and my Children who are to continue with herand be equally

Supported out of the property during the aboveterm and if my beloved wife Mary should marry again I will and desirethat my porperty shall be at the discression of my Executor to behereafter named, and that she then be placed on the same footing witheach one of my children wiz that she shall have her proportionaulepart of whatever is made by my Estate but that there may be nodivision of my property nowwilled in her favour and after her deaththat the property be equally divided amoung my children.

Item I will that my just debts be paid out of theproceeds of my estate and I do hereby nominate and appoint my friendsThomas N. Johnson and John Boyd Junr. My Executors to this my lastwill and testament made this 23rd December one thousand eight hundredand one.
