In the Name of God, Amen, I, Elizabeth Adams, being now sick in bodybut of sound and disposing mind and memory and now calling to mindthe uncertainty of human life do make and publish this my last willand testament that is to say-- Imprimis, I recommend my Soul to theMercy of God who gave it me and my body to be decently buried at thediscretion of my Executor hereafter named

Item, After all my just and lawful debts are paid, I give devise andbequeath to my granddaughter, Elizabeth R Oquin, all my lands lyingin Sumter District whereon I now live to her and her heirs lawfulbegotten of her own body also two Negros named, Filless and Renner,and all my household furniture such as feather beds and may also mystock of hogs, cattle, geese and all my Estate that I shall nothereafter give to others, also, Mirah and her increase. My will anddesire is that if Elizabeth R Oquin should die without a lawful issuefor her part to return to the children of Catherine Harry and to thechildren of John Adams and the children of William Adamsforever---

Item, I give and bequeath to my well beloved brother, Samuel Bryan,my Negro man Pearcy during his life and after his death to his son,Brown Bryan, them and their heirs forever.

Item, I give and bequeath to my son, William Adams, my dark bay horseknown by the name of Dunking.

Item, I give and bequeath to my son, John Adams, my sarrell horseknown by the name of Plowboy to them and their heirs forever. Also, Igive and bequeath to John and William Adams all my part of the landslying in Richland Distirct to them and their heirs forever. Also, mywill and desire is that my brother, Samuel Bryan, should have thecare of my granddaughter, Elizabeth R Oquin, and her property tillshe may marry or arrive to the age of twenty one years revoking allformer wills before made by me ratifying and conforming this and noother to be my last will and testament and I also appoint my brother,Lemuel Bryan and Brown Bryan Executors to this my last will andtestament in witness hereunto I have set my hand and seal this theNinth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eighthundred and twenty two
