I, Alice D. Barrett of Sumter District and Stateaforesaid, do make this my Last Will and Testament. First, It is mywill and desire that at my death, after all my debts are paid, mybeloved son,&endash;&endash;Aeneas Columbus Barrett do own, possessand have my land containing such number oF acres Farm, buttings andboundings, as a plat of the same made out by Allen McCard, surveyor,accompanying this Will may represent, upon his paying or becomingresponsibleÏ to my eldest son, William G. Barrett, Guardian of myafflicted daughter Elizabeth JaneÏ Barrett (so appointed by my selfor his legal representative) the sum of Three Hundred andThirty ninedollars 98/100 Cents, bearing in interest from the date of my death,which sum of money I stand justly indebted to her,

Secondly, I give and bequeath to my daughter,Elizabeth Jane Barrett, the bed and bedstead I received of the Estateof my deceased son, Dr. Isaiah D, Barrett, also my wardrobe.

Thirdly, It is my Will and desire that at mydeath, my Servants, Lewis and Sophia, and any other Servant orServants I then may be possessed of, be sold and the proceeds ofÏsuchsale, together with all and every of my Estate, except what isreserved in theÏabove first and Second Items, be equally dividedamong the rest of my children, including Elizabeth Jane Barrett,Share and Share alike.

Fourthly, I do hereby constitute and appoint mySons, William G. Barrett and Aeneas C. Barrett, the Executors of thismy Last will and Testament.
