WILL OF ROYAL BREWER

 

 

In the Name of God Amen.

 

I Royal Brewer, calling to mind the Shortness oflife and certainty of death do make this my last will &testament:

 

1st I commend my Soul to God who gave it and mybody to be buried in a christian manner. --------

 

Item I give to beloved Wife Martha Brewer all myproperty during her natural life time, (provided my Just debts can bepaid without the Sale of any of my property, but in case I Shoulloose what is due me from my Son Walter Brewer, then and in that caseI will and direct the Sale of my land or So much thereof as will paymy Just debts, and all the residue of my property to my wife Marthaas above mentioned,) and at the death of my wife Martha Brewer, Iwill and direct that all my property be Sold and the money be Equallydivided between all my Children; and all the children of my Saidwife, Martha Brewer, Share and Share alike --------

 

I appoint my friend Alfred Scarborough Executor tothis my last will and testament witness my hand & Seal this 5thday of October A D, 1847
