In the name of God amen I Henry Byrd of ClarendonCounty, Sumter District and the state of South Carolina being in good health and of sound mind blessed be God for the same do make andpublish this my last will and testament in manner and form follwoingthat is to say I bequeath my sould to God who made it. In the firstplace I desire that my body be decently intered with appropriateexpense and that all my just debts be paid and as to the goods withwhich it has pleased God to bless me I bestow in the followingmanner: Item 1st. I do give and bequeath to my daughter Ann L.Reynolds the wife of William L Reynolds all my real and personalpossessions of whatever kind I ____ing be possessed at the time ofmy death for the time of her natural life and after her death to herchildren and the issue of such of her children as there may be deadsuch issue taking together the share that would have fallen to theirparent if living. I make this above bequest to my daughter and herchildren for their separate use and thereof to be worked and managedby my son in Law W. L Reynolds as trustee for my daughter the saidAnn L Reynolds and her children and grand childrenfuring the liferime of my said son in Law, W. L. Reynolds. But if it should shohappen that my daughter Ann L Reynolds die leaving no child orchildren then in that caseI give and bequeath to the children of mygood friend W. W. Coulett my negroe man Jesse the ballance of my realand personall estate in case that my daughter the said Ann L.Reynolds shoud die leaving no children or grandchildren after hermaybe and remain in W. L. Reynolds so long as she my live subject to hisdirection and __________ during his life.

Item 3rd I do hereby nominate and appoint my sonin Law W. L. Reynolds executor of htis my last will and testamenthereby revoking all wills and codicils heretofore made by me. Shikker who beingduly sworn sayeth that he was personally present and saw Henry Byrdsign seal publish and declare the annexed instrument of wirting to beand contain his last will and testament. that he the said Henry Byrdwas at the time of sound mind memory and understanding so far as hethis deponent knows asn believes adn that Margaret A. Skinner andChare M Redgill together with himself this deponent did subscribetheir names thereunto at the request of the said Henry Byrd in hidsprescence and in the prescence of each other.
