WILL OF JOHN CAMERON

 

 

 

I, John Cameron of Sumter District being sick andweak in body but of sound mind, do make this my last will andtestament as follows.

 

First, I desire that my estate be sold by myExecutors hereinafter named either by private sale or public auction,my Negro Scipio not to be sold at public auction. The terms of saleto be such as my Executors may think most advantageous &endash; Outof the sales my debts are first to be paid. The balance of myestate, to be equally divided between my brothers and sisters, to witMurdoch Cameron, William Cameron, Donald Cameron, Margaret Cameronand Isabella Cameron, but should either of them be dead, it is mywill that the children or child or such deceased brother or sistertake the part of their parent.

 

Secondly, I nominate and appoint my friends ThomasDugan and Henry Vaughan Executors hereof&emdash;
