In the name of God amen: I Mary W. Muldrow of the District and State aforesaid, being in health and of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this as my last. will and testament hereby annuling all former or other will or wills by me made.

Imprimis: I give to my daughter Adaline E. Dennis, Peggy and Julia and their increase during the lifetime of my said daughter, and at her death to be equally divided among her children.

Item, I give to my daughter Adaline E. Dennis and son Thomas W. Muldrow the following named negroes, To wit, Hester and her daughter Sarah, Harace, Emily and her three children Ellison, Eloy and Postell, Tilla and her child Doss, Lafayette Hannah and Cherry together with their increase. My Son Thomas however is to receive an equivalent equal to the value of Peggy and Julia and their increase, before the division is made and the balance then equally devided between them and at the death of my said son or daughter to such child or children as they may leave.

Item, I give to my daughter Adaline and son Thomas each the choice of one bed and furniture

Item, I give to my daughter Adaline and son Thomas three notes which I hold against my said son Thomas, two for two hundred and eighty three dollars each, and one for two hundred and eighty four dollars, also & note for Three hundred and thirty six dollars which I hold against Dr. John E. Dennis, to be divided equally between them.

Item, To my son John Ellison Muldrow, I give the tract of land on which I reside, together with the buildings thereunto belonging, also my wire safe, the press up stairs, my writing desk and bookcase, also one sofa.

Item, To my grandSon William Lawrence Dennis I give the negro girl Louisa and her increase.

Item, To my daughter Adaline I give one set of dining tables, one dozen yellow chairs, a set of china, my setting room carpet one set of drawers, and my red press together with its contents.

Item, To my son Thomas W. I give my blue side board, cane bottom chairs and centre table also one small press

Item, It is my will and desire that the rest and residue of my estate, personal or real, not herein before disposed of be equally divided among my three children after the payment of my just debts.

Lastly, I nominate & appoint my son-in-law Dr. John E. Dennis and my sons Thomas W. and John E. Muldrow executors of this my last will and testament
