Will of Stephen Pritchard

Know all men by these presents that I Stephen Pritchard Calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed to man once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament in the manner and form following, Viz, First of all I give and bequeath my soul to immortal God who gave it and my body to be buried in decent Christian burial, and as touching the worldly goods that it has pleased God to blefs me with I wish them disposed of in the following manner. Viz, I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth one cow and calf, the balance of my stock, House hold and Kitchen furniture to remain with my beloved wife Fereby Pritchard for the use of her and family during her widowhood and at her death, or marriage the whole to be Equally divided between Each of my Children.

I do make and ordain this my last will and testament Revoking all others hereto fore by me at any time made this 20th day March in the year of our Lord 1848.
