WILL OF THOMAS D RHAME

Clarendon County
In the name of God Amen I Thomas D. Rhame of State District and county aforesaid Being
mindful of my Mortality do this Nineteenth day of June in the year of our Lord
one Thousand Eight Hundred fifty one do make and publish this my last will and
testament in manner and form following.
First I disire to be decently and privately buried at the discretion of
my Executors Hereafter named without any funeral pomp and with as little
expense as possible.
Second. I
give unto my beloved mother Margaret Rhame the following named negroes Endon
Lisha Naro Tom nicknamed Sike and George and Stock of all kinds with my money
to own and to keep her natural life and at her death to go to my Brothers and
Sisters or there postivity viz Jas B Rhame Asa A Rhame George W Rhame Zeluben A
Rhame Obediah C Rhame Mary A M Rhame and Thuza T Rhame and all the rest of my
personal Estate wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my Executors and Lastly I
constitute and appoint my Beloved Mother Margaret Rhame and My Brothers Asa
Rhame and Obediah C. Rhame my Executrix and Executors in this my last will and
testament.
Signed Sealed and published as for his last will
and Testament of this Testator in our presents who at his request in his
presents and in the presents of Each other have Subscribed our names as
witnesses thereto.
