WILL OF WILLIAM DON RICHARDSON

 

South Carolina

Sumter District                 In the name of God be it so - I William Don Richardson being of sound mind & discretion, but remembering that I am soon to die - do make, ordain, & constitute this instrument as my last will & testament.

 

Item: 1st I will & bequeath to my beloved wife Margaret Elizabeth, for the term of her natural life, all my estate of whatever it may consist - and, should she bare a child by her present husband then, at her death all the aforesaid Estate shall descend to such child.

 

Item: 2d Should my wife Margaret E - die without issue by her present marriage, then at her death I give all my estate to my three Brothers, Edward Charles II & James B. Richardson to them & their Heirs forever - - -

 

Item: 3d I appoint my Brother Edward Richardson Executor of this my will and Testament & my wife Margaret Elizabeth Executrix of the same.

 

In witness of this my Will & Testament thereunto set my hand & seal this sixteenth day of September, in the year of the Lord one thousand eight hundred & forty eight.
