Will of Sarah Watson

 

 

In the name of God Amen. I ordain this my lastwill and testament.

 

Item. I give unto my Sister Nancy Moody a Chest,Tea kettle, Skillet and all my wearing apparel. Item. I give toRichard son of Isreal Allen, a Matress, Bedstead, furniture, and allmy kitchen utensils. Item. I give unto Daniel McCachern a featherBed,bedstead, and furniture. Item. It is my Desire that all theremainder of my estate is to be divided in four equal parts, (that isto say) I give unto my Brother Isreal Allen, one fourth part, to mySister Nancy Moody, one fourth part, and to my Sister ElizabethRogers, one fourth part, and to James and Daniel McCachern, the otherfourth part. But the bed, bedstead and furniture is considered inthe fourth part given to James and Daniel McCachern.

 

Lastly I appoint Richard Allen son of IsrealAllen my executor. And witness where off I here unto set my hand, this Anno Domino one thousand Eighteen hundred andtwenty eight.
