SUMTER DISTRICT) In the name of God Amen: I David E. Wilson of the District and State aforesaid: Calling to mind the mortality of the body; and knowing that it is appointed unto all men once to die do make this my last will and testament; I commend my Soul to God who gave it and my body to be buried in a Christian like manner; and my world Estate I dispose of in the manner; form; and way following; (Vis)

Item I give and bequeath to Addella Baker the following named negroes, Binah & Child; Lidia; Tilly; Pierson; Thomas; Frances; Crissy; Emma; Leonidus; little Mingo; Big George; and old Betty; with their future increase. but should She the Said Addella Baker die leaving no lawful ifsue all the Said negroes and increase Shall return to my Estate for the Use and benefit of my beloved wife Sarah I. Wilson. Just as her other property in this will.

Item I give and bequeath to Elias G. DuBose one negro boy named Harrison to him and his heirs forever.-

Item All the rest and residue of my property not above named; consisting of lands; negroes; Horses; Mules, Cattle; Hogs; corn; Cotton; carriages of all kinds; household & kitchen furniture and all other articles; I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah I. Wilson; to her and her heirs forever; on the proviso however that She my beloved wife Sarah I. Wilson or her heirs or assigns do pay all my Just debts; and I do hereby authorize and fully impower my Said wife Sarah I. Wilson to Select and point out to my Executors any property real or personal; that I have given her; for the payment of my debts ( Should any thereof have to be Sold) and my Executors after having had pointed out to them by my beloved wife Sarah I. Wilson Such property as She may think proper to dispose of for the payment of my debts, (whether the Same be real or personal; Shall have full power and authority to dispose of the Same at private sale; then after all my debts Shall have been paid; Either by beloved wife without Sale; or by my Executers by the Sale of property; as above directed; then all the rest and residue of the Said portion real and personal above named and given to her my beloved wife Sarah I. Wilson; Shall be hers; her Heirs; and afsigns forever.-

Item I nominate and appoint my friends Elias G. DuBose and Alfred Scarborough Executors to this my Last will and testament -
