I Stephen H. Boykin do make and ordain this mylast Will and Testament in manner following Viz I bequeath my lovingwife Dorcus Boykin, one Negro Man called Littleton, Twenty years old,one Woman called Nance Eighteen years old and her Boy child calledLige one month old, one Boy called Tom

Fifteen years old, one Girl called Eliza Twelveyears old, one Girl called Harriet Eight years old and their increaseand all the residue of my estate forever. I bequeath to my childrenTen Dollars to be paid cash or to the heirs of their body, to be paidby my executrix after paying all my just debts. I nominate,constitute and appoint my loving wife Dorcus Boykin my executrix ofthis my last will and testament, should any of my children or anyother person contend for any part of my estate with my executrix theyshall forfeit the above legacy.

Witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand andseal the thirteenth day of September 1844
