Last Will and Testament of William Bradley

 

 

The State of South Carolina

Darlington County

 

                                    I William Bradley of said state and county, expecting soon to die and believing myself to be of sound mind, make and declare the following as my last Will and Testament to wit:

1st I give and bequeath to my Son H.M. Bradley as a memorial, my silver headed canes.

2nd I give and bequeath to my son George S. Bradley, as a memorial my silver watch.

3rd I give and bequeath to my son William Bradley, as a memorial the bureau with the mirror which is in my bedroom.

4th I give and bequeath to my son Archibald S. Bradley, as a memorial the clothes press in my bed room.

5th I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth W. Bradley as a memorial, Matthew Henry Commentary.

6th I give and bequeath to my son H.M. Bradley all the Theological Books, pamphlets, essays in my library.

7th I give and bequeath and desire to my daughter Elizabeth M. Bradley, the following property, my farm lying of Black Creek in said State and County together with all my cattle and stock whatsoever kind, my household and Kitchen furniture, silver plates, my buggy, and all my plantation tools utensils of whatsoever kind, nature or description.

8th Any other property whatsoever to be equally divided between my children.

9th I hereby nominate and appoint my daughter Elizabeth M. Bradley to be sole Executrix of this my last will and testament.  With my hand and seal the 26th day of July AD 1881.
