This old cemetery on Carolina Hill lies southwest of Chilton, north of FM Road 935 on a dirt road. To reach it, travel south from Chilton or north from Lott on US 77 to its intersection with FM Road 935 at Deer Creek Church Turn west and go 1.5 miles to the first road on the right (north). His father was James Currie, and he appears on the 1850 US Census in Caswell, NC, but not on the 1860 US Census in Colorado, TX. I'm guessing that James died in Colorado, TX. just prior to the census. According to the 1860 US Census, the children of James A. & Julia A.
