The following Bible was printed before 1869. On the flyleaf are the following words in beautiful script writing:
 

“Miss Barbara Lackey’s Book, a present from her father” December 9, 1869
 

Below this inscription Balsora Lackey has written: “For my dear daughter Susie M. Rugeley, from her mother Balsora Lackey LeTulle.” Matagorda County, Texas March 27th, 1904

MARRIAGES
 

Victor O. LeTulle and Balsora Lackey were married Jan. 16th, 1871 in Colorado County.

Married at the residence of the bride’s parents on Caney Creek, Matagorda County, Texas on November 20, 1895, Mr. R. A. Mathis and Miss Susie LeTulle. Reverend W. C. Bracewell officiating.
 

Married at the residence of L. E. LeTulle, Alleyton, Texas.

Mr. H. Rugeley of Bay City, Matagorda Co, Texas to Miss Susie Mathis, daughter of V. O. and Balsora LeTulle. Reverend Allen officiating. Married October 26th, 1898.
 

J. J. LeTulle and Katie M. Beach were married in Conroe, Texas, June 2nd, 1902.
 

Mary LeTulle Rugeley and William Brownlee Ferguson, Jr. were married in Bay City, Texas at the Episcopal Church on March 23rd, 1922.

Victor O. LeTulle was born November 25, 1832 in Guyandotte, West Virginia.
 

Balsora Lackey was born April 26th, 1840 in Stewart County, Georgia.

John James LeTulle was born October 21st, 1871 in Colorado County, Texas.

Julia P. Letulle was born July 7th, 1873 in Colorado County, Texas.

Mary Susan LeTulle was born October 24th, 1875 in Colorado County, Texas.

Mary LeTulle Rugeley was born July 18th, 1899 in Bay City, Matagorda County, Texas, granddaughter of V. O. & Balsora LeTulle and daughter of Henry and Mary Susan LeTulle Rugeley.

Harriette Anne Rugeley was born July 26, 1918 in Bay City, Texas, daughter of Henry Rugeley and Mary Susan LeTulle Rugeley.

William Brownlee Ferguson, son of Mary LeTulle and William Brownlee Ferguson, born January 19th, 1926 in Bay City, Matagorda County, Texas.

DEATHS
 

My dear Mother, Balsora Lackey LeTulle died in Bay City, Matagorda County, Texas, August 28th 1911.
 

My dear Father, Victor O. LeTulle in Bay City, Matagorda County, Texas, on November 5th, 1914.

L. E. LeTulle, brother of V. O. LeTulle died at Alleyton, Texas, Colorado County, January 12, 1912.

Anna R. (Lackey) LeTulle, wife of L. E. LeTulle died in Alleyton, Texas June 16th 1900.

R. A. Mathis died near Bay City, Matagorda County, Texas, on January 9th, 1896.

Harriette Anne Rugeley died in Houston August 30th, 1929. (Daughter of Henry Rugeley and Susan LeTulle Rugeley.)

Mary Susan LeTulle Rugeley died in Bay City, Texas

Henry LeTulle Rugeley died in Bay Villa Nursing Home, Bay City, Texas, January 25, 1986.
