Miss Edith Fausset left Monday for her home at Harper, Kansas, and will probably remain all winter. --Matagorda County Tribune, October 17, 1913

Dr. Fausset had his telephone changed from the hotel to his office last Saturday. His phone is now No. 6. --Collegeport New Era, January 8, 1914

Dr. G. F. Fausset, who has been here for sixteen months, during which time he found insufficient practice for a livelihood, shipped his household goods Monday by boat to Freeport , himself and wife leaving Tuesday for that place. While we regret to lose Dr. Fausset, we realize that we have too healthy a location for a doctor to receive a very lucrative practice, and we wish him success in his new location and hope he may find a more lucrative practice at that point. Collegeport New Era, November 26, 1914

The deepest sympathy of the neighborhood goes to Dr. Fausset and sons in the death of their wife and mother, also to Mr. and Mrs. Crabill and family, Mrs. Fausset’s parents, brothers and sisters. Dr. and Mrs. Fausset used to live in Collegeport where Mrs. Fausset was known and loved by many. --Palacios Beacon, October 28, 1937
