Dr. Skinner was b 18 Jun 1828 in SC and d 19 May 1871

He married Mary Anna Caroline Rugeley (b 13 Dec 1823 SC - d 31 Dec 1875 Marianna, Polk Co., TX) between 1856 and 1860.

Mary A. C. Rugeley was the daughter of Rowland Rugeley (b 17 Dec 1786 Fairfield County, SC - d Lowndes County, AL) and Mary Ann Mickle (b 29 Jul 1792 SC - d 29 Jun 1848 Lowndes County, AL)

Mary Anna Caroline Rugeley first married William Owen Baldwin (b 15 Apr 1910 GA - d 5 Jan 1856 Coldspring, San Jacinto County, TX) on 28 Oct 1840 in Lowndes County, AL.

There was a Dr. K. W. Skinner who was the proprietor of the Central Hotel in Millican, TX in August 1867.
