Funeral services for Mae Ella Brown, 82, of Bay City, Texas, will be Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Jesus Freewill Holy Temple Church, 2420 Avenue C, Bay City, Texas, with Bishop Michael Hurst, eulogist and the Rev. Shaun Jammer, officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service, at Live Oak Cemetery. Public viewing will be Friday, April 4, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the chapel of Green’s Mortuary, Bay City. She was born July 14, 1931, to the late Shepherd Brown and Octavia King Brown. She passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014, at home, surrounded by her family. Mae Ella is survived by three sons, John Wayne Brown of Bay City, Will Wright of Arizona and Anthony Wright of Bay City; and a host grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
