James W. Patterson
Graveside services for James W. Patterson, 79, of Matagorda,
will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at Matagorda
Cemetery in Matagorda with the Rev Isaiah Gartica presiding.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. in the chapel of Duncan-Roberts
Funeral Home on Tuesday.
Mr. Patterson died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000 at Sweeny Hospital in
Sweeny.
He was born in Matagorda, Wednesday Feb. 25, 1920 to Lawyer
Patterson and Wilhemenia Lewis Patterson.
He was a member of St. Peters Baptist Church in Matagorda.
Survivors include one sister, Willie Patterson of Houston; and a
host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are with Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home.
