 YOUNG, EDDIE WILSON
Funeral services for Eddie Wilson Young, 83, of Bay City will be at 1
p.m. Saturday, December 29 at Bethel Baptist Church with eulogist Rev.
L. C. Cunningham, Jr. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Bay
City.
Visitation will be Friday until 9 p.m. in the Duncan Roberts Funeral
Home chapel.
He was born in Bay City, Wednesday, September 4, 1918 to Allen Young,
Jr. and Erie Whitley Young and passed away Friday, Dec. 21 at Memorial
Herman Hospital in Houston.
He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include two sisters, Barbara R. Young of Bay City and Edith
(and Maurice) Grovey of Old Ocean; one brother, Morris (and Jannette)
Young of Houston; two sisters-in-law, Mary Young of Philadelphia and
Lera Young of Denver, Colorado; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Allen Young Jr.;
one sister Blanche Edwards; five brothers; Odie, Rev. John W., Cleveland
H., Jimmy, and Harry Young.
Arrangements are with Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home, Bay City, Texas.
