Work begun on our new school house Wednesday. School was nearing completion at the end of August in time for the beginning of the 1913-1914 school term. ("Goodhope Gleaning", Rains County Leader, August 8 & 22, 1913) The new school house is now finished. The old house was sold last Saturday to the highest bidder, Mr. Pansville, being the highest bidder, giving $40. ("Goodhope Gleaning", Rains County Leader, September 5, 1913)
