FRENCH MEMORIAL CEMETERY

The French Memorial Cemetery, also known as the Old French Cemetery, is approached through private property. In previous editions this cemetery was listed with Millican/Milligan Cemetery. They are separate cemeteries. This land was developed in 1887 for this cemetery. It contains 4.4 acres. There are very few stones with names. Charlie Elliott has put crosses in place of unnamed stones.

From Trinity, Texas, go south 3.4 miles on State Highway 19 to Farm to Market Road 3453, the Pinecrest Road. Turn left and proceed 1.4 miles to the junction with Old Riverside Road, turn left, go 0.4 mile. A side road enters from the left, barred by a locked gate.
