Carpenter Funeral Will Be Friday

DePere - Funeral services for Mrs Anna Rozette Carpenter who was a resident of DePere for nearly fifty years will be held at the Congregational church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev S Groenfeldt officiating.  Mrs Carpenter was born in Sullivan county, New York Dec 20 1841 and came to Wisconsin with her parents in 1854 having resided in De Pere since that time.  She is survived by three sons, William Fisher of Portland Ore; Fred O Fisher of Racine and Edward Fisher of West DePere.  Two brothers CV Loper of West De Pere and JD Loper of Oshkosh also survive her.  Mrs Carpenter had been failing for many months and immediately following the death of her husband on Nov 9, she was so ill that it was believed at that time she would not survive.  James Loper, her brother, died at the same home on Oct 2.  Following the funeral services at the church the body will be interred at Cady cemeterry. (sic)
