A. DEGRAVE, OLD SETTLER, IS DEAD

Well Known Resident of County Dies at Hospital After Short Illness

Anton DeGrave, pioneer resident of Brown county, and for the past eight years a reside nt of the city, died in a hospital here yesterday after an illness of two months. He was 75 years old. For some time past, Mr. DeGrave made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Peter DeKelver, 1709 Cedar street.

He was born in Belgium, and come here in 1855, settling in the town of Humboldt. He was a farmer there until eight years ago when he moved to the city. Mr. DeGrave is well known through out the entire county. He is survived by 11 children. \par The children are: Peter, Alphonse and Joseph of Green Bay; Ferdinand of St. Mary's Idaho; Mrs. Frank Heyrman, Mrs. Andrew Vandenplus, Mrs. Alphone Reiner, Mrs. H. Kreischer adn Mrs. Frank Kreischer of Preble, and Mrs. John Vander Boemen and Mrs. Peter DeKelver of Green Bay. \par Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church, Father Andregg officiating. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery at Finger church.
