Obituary of Earl J. DeVillers - February 7, 2001

Earl J. DeVillers, 64, 1789 Wedgewood Dr, died Wednesday, Feb 7, 2001 at a local hospital.  He was born Feb 28, 1916, in Green Bay, to the late William and Lena (VanDerel) DeVillers.  In 1939, he married Francis DuBois, in Walhain, Wis.  Earl was a cheese processor for 20 years and enjoyed many years of farming.  He retired from LCL Transit in 1979.  He enjoyed crafts, painting, and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packer fan.  Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Frances, four children and their spouses, Dale and Helen DeVillers, Green Bay, Larry and Mary DeVillers, Jacksonville, Fla, Mike DeVillers, Green Bay, Sandra Devillers and her special friend Lee Shilbauer, Luxemburg, Wis, two grand children,  Scott Minger, Zachary DeVillers, two great grand children, Travis and Ashley Minger, two brothers, Don DeVillers, Wilcox, Ariz, Mick DeVillers, Green Bay.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton DeVillers, and a sister, Evelyn Schutte.  Friends may call at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd mausoleum.
