GORDON JOSEPH DEGRAVE

Gordon Joseph DeGrave, 88, 1566 Foeller Drive, died Saturday, April 3, 1993 at a local hospital following a short illness. The son of the late Antone and Catherine (DeLeers) DeGrave was born Feb. 13, 1905 in Green Bay. Gordon married the former Laura F. Conard Sept. 4, 1929. She preceded him in death in 1968. He married Verna Junio in 1969. She preceeded him in death in 1985.

Gordon was an accountant and semi-retired in 1968. He was a member of the Wisconsin Association of Public Accountants, Inc. Northeast Chapter. He operated DeGrave Accounting and Tax Service. He was a 50 year charter member of St. Phillip Church adn its Holy Name Society and was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4505.

He is survived by one sone and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Helen DeGrave, Green Bay; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Ann Aimers, Milwaukee; Kathy and D ick Wolcott, Green Bay; one step son and his wife, Jack and Barbara Junio, Green Bay, one step-daughter and her husband, Janice and Jan Motiff; 11 grandchildren, Jean VanRens, David DeGrave, Paul DeGrave, Mark DeGrave, John DeGrave, Brian DeGrave, Gary Grieger, Sherri Schmid, Debbie Wolcott, Lisa Nass,Craig Aimers; 18 great- grandchildren, Kristian, Nicole, Darin, Ryan, Justin, Nicole, Jennifer, Amanda, Laura, Lisa, Bobby, Kim, Jack, Karen, Michael, Jenny, Zachary and Kara; one sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Frank Dimmer; one sister-in- law, Elenor VanNelson, a dear friend Margaret Lorenzoni, nieces and nephews.

He was preceeded in death by two sisters, two brothers, one step-sister, one step-brother.

Friends may call Schauer and Schumacher East Side Fu neral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Parish wake service 7 p.m.Tuesday. Visitation continues Wednesday 9:30 a.m. at St. Phillip Church. Funeral 10:30 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Larry Canaoera officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. \par \par Note: Obit shows brother in law Frank Dimmer surviving him. Frank died the day after and his obituary follows Gordon's in the same edition of the Press Gazette.
