JAMES DEGRAVE OF HUMBOLDT DIES

James DeGrave, 65, Town of Humboldt Farmer, died at his farm home Saturday afternoon. He had been ill several months. Born in Humboldt, Mr. DeGrave had farmed all hi li fe, operating a farm in the Town of Eaton for 31 years and one in Humboldt for the past 11 years. He is survived by his wife Lillian; two sons, William, Preble, and Donald, Eaton; a sister, Mrs. Florence DeMuth, Green Bay; two brothers, Albert, Green Bay , and Felix of Eaton, and nine grandchildren. The body is at the Schauer and Schumacher Funeral Home, where the Holy Name Society of the Holy Marytrs of Gorcum Church, of which Mr. DeGrave was a member, will recite the Rosary at 8 o'clock tonight. The Re v. Edward Lemieux will sing the funeral Mass at the Holy Martyrs Church Tuesday morning at 9:30. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
