Obituary of Joseph Renquin - June 23, 1949

Joseph Renquin, 53, Abrams, route 1, died Wednesday evening at his home, where he had been ill four years. Born in Humboldt, Jan. 4, 1896, he lived there until his marriage to the former Lillian DeGrave. Th ey moved to Green Bay where he was employed by the Northern Paper Mills for 17 years. Four years ago they bought a fam at Abrams and lived there until the present time.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Earl and Norman, at home; three sist ers, Mrs. Mattie Bollinger, Chicago, Mrs. Louise Zegers, San Francisco,Calif., and Mrs Jennie Horkman, Carney, Mich; two brothers, Henry and John, Green Bay, and his stepmother, Mrs. Rose Renquin, Green Bay.

The body may be viewed at the Dupon t-Malcore funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. The rosary will be said there at 8 o'clock each evening until Saturday, the day of the funeral. A solemn high reequiem mass will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday at SS. Peter and Paul church and burial wi ll be in the Allouez cemetery.
